Resolving Water Law Issues Through Mediation / ADR

Water rights matters in Colorado and neighboring states often require extensive preliminary investigations and special hearings. They tend to involve complicated issues that are best approached through alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation and arbitration. Legal Resolution Center handles water law issues facing parties such as water utility companies, commercial entities and government bodies, including municipalities, counties and state governments.

Contact LRC for more information regarding a dispute involving water tables, wells, rivers or lakes. Former state and federal judges of Legal Resolution Center handle a vast array of legal issues, including water law matters, primarily in alternative dispute resolution forums. LRC personnel are also appointed to serve as Special Masters, to conduct administrative hearings and as specially appointed judges.

Patricia A. Madsen of Legal Resolution Center in Westminster, Colorado, focuses her practice on water transactions and water rights litigation. She was appointed in 1989 to the Denver County Court, where she still sits pro-tem. An expert on state and federal civil litigation, she has experience with proceedings before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board.

Lawyers and government entities are encouraged to contact LRC by phone or e-mail for more information regarding the resolution of a water rights matter.
