Alternate Dispute Resolution Services

Arbitration:
LRC's former judges can accept appointments as sole arbitrators or as a neutral on a multi-person panel.

Settlement Conferences:
LRC's former judges are able to provide impartial mediation of disputes between parties, including mediation pertaining to specialized industries and practice areas such as personal injury, construction defects, commercial law, domestic disputes, municipal issues, water law and railroads.

Specially Appointed Judges:
LRC has former judges available for appointment as judges pro tem pursuant to C.R.S. 13-3-111. This option allows a party a means of preserving the right to appeal which would not occur with arbitration.

Domestic Settlement Services:
LRC's former judges are available for both pre-decree and post-decree services.

Hearing Officers:
LRC's former judges are available for appointment as neutral hearing officers.

Legal Resolution Center Fees And Costs

• Hourly rate for judicial officers: $295.00
• Hourly rate for Judge Bruce Pringle: $315.00
• Hourly rate for Judge Stephen Carter: $235.00
• Hourly rate for travel: $125.00*
• Public transportation - airlines, etc.: As required

Legal Resolution Center Fees And Payment Policy

Arbitrations:

Deposits: A $2,000 per day per party deposit must be received 60 calendar days prior to the hearing. A deposit is not required for uninsured or underinsured motorist cases.

Cancellations: If an arbitration cancels within 14 calendar days of the scheduled hearing, a cancellation fee of $1,000 for each day reserved will be charged.

Settlement Conferences and Mediations:

Deposits: A $600 deposit per party is required for pro se clients and for all domestic cases. Deposits must be received 10 calendar days before the scheduled mediation or conference.

Cancellations: If a full-day settlement conference or mediation is cancelled within 7 calendar days before the scheduled conference, a cancellation fee of $1,000 will be charged. If a half-day conference is cancelled within 7 calendar days of the conference, a cancellation fee of $500 will be charged.

Payment Policy: Legal Resolution Center expects payment for all services to be made by counsel for the parties unless prior arrangements are made in writing by the parties and approved by LRC.

*Exception: no charge for travel in Front Range (from Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming to Pueblo, Colorado)
