![]() Donald E. Abram
Arvada, Colorado Judge Donald E. Abram graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in business, and in 1963 with a Juris Doctorate. During his trial attorney tenure, he was a shareholder and litigator with the Peterson & Fonda law firm in Pueblo, Colorado. He also served as Councilman and President of the Pueblo City Council during his legal career there. In 1975, Judge Abram was appointed as a Colorado District Judge and following that, served 19 years as a United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for Colorado. He conducted over 2,000 mediations as a federal judge. In addition, he was also appointed by the U.S. District Court as a Special Master and as a Guardian ad Litem (class action). He spent considerable time as an instructor and lecturer at the University of Southern Colorado, the University of Denver School of Law and the Federal Judicial Center of the U.S. Courts.
